Phulkari is a traditional art form from Punjab. Traditionally, when a girl gets married, her mother gives her a Phulkari dupatta as part of the tradition.

I learned this art in my classroom and discovered that it requires many skills. You need focus and, most importantly, patience.

The most interesting part of Phulkari art was seeing the colours come together. It was amazing to see the final result, and I felt that all my hard work was paying off.
