‘I chose to draw the two cranes because they reminded me of how nature can speak to us without using words. Cranes are calm and beautiful birds. The way the cranes’ necks are connected shows their strong bond. I used only black and white to show that even without color, we can share emotions like love, struggle, and harmony.
This drawing is a symbol of how different things—like light and dark or happy and sad—can still come together and make something beautiful.’
